Space Questions

Common Comparisons

Which Fernwood Hills space is best for a therapist or counsellor?
Adler Cabin and Bracken Cabin are purpose-built for 1:1 therapeutic work. Adler is the most secluded — fire pit, no line of sight to other buildings, deep in the forest. Bracken is on a ridge with floor-to-ceiling windows — the deer feeders and natural light are part of the session. Both accommodate 2 people for day use. If you need closer washroom or kitchen access for a long intensive, ask about reviewed Farmhouse Studio.
Which space is best for a photography or commercial shoot?
The Studio Loft. 1,120 sq ft of open floor with NNW-diffused natural light all day — no harsh directional shadows. Outdoor locations include the forest, meadow clearing, ponds, and cabin exteriors. Simple 1-2 person shoots can book online; reviewed creative requests can go up to 25 people. For larger crews or multi-day productions, see /create.
Which space is best for an overnight cabin stay?
All four overnight spaces sleep 2. Adler and Bracken are small, intimate forest cabins — best for couples who want total seclusion. The Studio Loft has 1,120 sq ft, a queen loft bed, gas fireplace, and full kitchen — best for couples who want more space. Farmhouse Suite is a private upper-floor suite with kitchen, sitting area, full washroom, deck, and separate entrance.
Which space is best for a small retreat or workshop?
For groups up to 25, the Studio Loft is the primary gathering space — open floor, reconfigurable, suited for yoga, somatic practice, facilitation, and circle work. For groups that want indoor-outdoor flow and kitchen/table access, reviewed Farmhouse Studio can work alongside the Studio Loft. Contact us to discuss multi-space configurations.
Which space is best for a couples therapy intensive?
Farmhouse Studio is the strongest fit for reviewed couples intensives that need a warmer table-centred setting, kitchen access, or deck flow. It is reviewed before payment for every request. Adler or Bracken Cabin also work for 1:1 format within a couple (therapist + 1 client at a time).
Which space works for a celebration or gathering?
Farmhouse Studio is reviewed up to 25 depending on use and setup. The Studio Loft holds up to 25 in open format. For celebrations like bridal showers and birthday gatherings, both spaces are available after review. See /gather/celebrations for details.
