Full-Day Weekday Booking
For most professional sessions and client work, the full day gives you the most room. The booking widget preselects it on open Monday-Thursday dates, and 1-2 guests can go straight to secure checkout. Groups of 3-25 are reviewed first so the setup matches the use.
Not a retreat space built to look like a home — the actual farmhouse, from 1960, with the settled feeling that old buildings carry. Forest on three sides, a front deck facing the meadow, a real kitchen, and enough rooms that the day can move around inside the space.
Good for any session where a table, a full kitchen, and indoor-outdoor flow matter: couples intensives, facilitation groups, full-day coaching, content and brand days. 1-2 guests can book online; groups of 3-25 are reviewed first so the setup, staffing, and cleanup match the use.

Who Books the Farmhouse
Couples Therapists
A full house for couples intensives — kitchen for meals between sessions, a deck for transition time, multiple rooms when the work needs space to breathe. Simple 1-2 person bookings can go straight through online.
Facilitators & Trainers
Small group work up to 25 after review. A proper table, room to move, and forest access for breaks, with the right setup confirmed before payment.
Executive Coaches
Full-day 1:1 intensives where the setting is deliberately removed from the client's normal environment. The drive out, the kitchen, the unhurried pace — it all helps.
Content & Brand Days
A farmhouse kitchen and outdoor meadow deck for lifestyle brands, recipe content, and farm-to-table shoots. Authentic 1960s character — not a set.

Common Questions
Can I use the kitchen during a day-use session?
Yes. The full kitchen — including the gas range, fridge, and coffee setup — is available during your session. This is why the Farmhouse works well for couples intensives and facilitated gatherings: people can eat together.
Is day use available when someone is booked for overnight?
No. If the Farmhouse is booked for an overnight stay, it isn't available for day use on the same date. The calendar will show those dates as unavailable.
How many people can I bring for a workshop or intensive?
For simple day use, 1-2 guests can book online. Farmhouse requests for 3-25 guests are reviewed first so we can confirm the room setup, use, parking, timing, and cleanup. If it becomes a larger retreat-style day with food, vendors, classes, or extra staffing, we'll quote it through the group request path.
What does '1960s authenticity' mean in practice?
The Farmhouse is the original building on the property — wood-panelled walls, a stone fireplace, low ceilings in the hallway, a deck that faces the meadow. It hasn't been gutted and renovated into a generic rental. It feels like a real house, not a blank event room.
What are the rates and what's included?
The Farmhouse is $135 for a 3-hour session, $199 for a half day (up to 5 hours), or $299 for a full day (up to 8 hours) — all prices CAD plus HST. The rate includes full use of the kitchen, gas fireplace, deck, forest trail access, and parking for 20+ vehicles. No per-person charge for day use.
When is the space available and what is the cancellation policy?
The Farmhouse public day-use calendar is Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm. Friday to Sunday is request-only for stays, gatherings, and higher-touch bookings. Cancellations more than 48 hours before your session receive a full refund. Within 48 hours, the session fee is non-refundable but can be credited toward a rescheduled date within 90 days.
Is catering available for a Farmhouse day-use session?
Yes — Manna, Fernwood's in-house farm-to-table kitchen, can provide lunch, snacks, and coffee service for your group as an add-on. Mention it when you book and we'll work out the menu and pricing. You can also use the Farmhouse kitchen to prepare your own food, or bring catering in. See /food for more about Manna.

Staying the Night?
The Farmhouse is also available for overnight stays. A full evening in the forest, a morning with the property to yourself. Couples intensives and full-day sessions work differently when clients don't have to drive home after.
