  • Heavy rain / cold / stormsStudio Loft — full indoor ceremony, floor-to-ceiling glass

Why It Works

Simple, private, complete.

Private by design.

One wedding per date. No other ceremony competing for the same forest, the same light, the same moment.

Nothing left to coordinate.

Getting ready, ceremony, send-off, dinner, overnight, breakfast — all one arc. You don’t piece together a hotel and a forest and a restaurant. It’s already done.

Yours until morning.

After the send-off, the Studio Loft is yours. The evening is actually private — the forest, the quiet, and each other.

Best for

  • Couple-first — the evening is always just the two of you
  • Intimate, unhurried, real ceremony energy
  • Guests welcome for ceremony + brief send-off, then they go home
  • Couples who want to sleep where they got married
  • Weekday dates — quieter, $600 less

Not for

  • Larger gatherings — see Micro Wedding (11–30 guests)
  • All-night parties or late departures
  • Dance floors and DJs
  • Full formal reception with plated service for a crowd

Photography

Documentary style, by Lee.

The story of the day, not posed portraits. Lee knows every corner of the property and the best light at every hour. Available for either package — inquire for availability. Outside photographers are always welcome.

Ceremony — 3 hours

$2,500

The Full Arc — 5 hours (getting ready through dinner)

$4,000

Also available for overnight guests: golden hour portrait session — 90 minutes, $800.

Vendors

Your team, your choice.

We don’t bundle vendors into the package — you hire who you want. We keep a short list of people who know the property and work well here.

Officiant

Ontario allows clergy and commissioned civil celebrants. Discuss vow style, length (target 20–40 min), and timeline. Lock in 12+ weeks out.

Photographer

Look for comfort with outdoor/forest setting and experience with intimate timelines. Lee is available when not booked — inquire for availability.

Florals

The white pine arch is beautiful bare — florals are optional. Hand-gathered greenery from the property is welcome. Local florists available on request.

Names available on request — mention it in your inquiry.

The Food

Manna by Fernwood Hills — in-house food prepared in a simple, thoughtful way that fits the scale and feel of your day. Seasonal menus, family-style or buffet service. No fixed price list — menus and pricing are worked out as part of your booking. We can accommodate vegetarian and some other dietary preferences; just mention it when you inquire. Outside caterers are welcome too — bring your own, no corkage. About Manna →

Questions

Good to Know

What's included in the elopement package?
Everything for the day: Farmhouse access from 10am for getting ready, forest ceremony with white pine timber frame arch, Timber Pavilion send-off for guests, Studio Loft yours for the evening, Manna dinner for two, overnight in the Studio Loft, and a farm breakfast basket at your door in the morning. Officiant, photographer, and florals are yours to arrange — we have a recommended vendor list for all three.
What's not included?
Officiant, photographer, florals, and alcohol (BYOB — or apply for a Special Event Permit, about $25). Manna appetizers for guests at the Timber Pavilion send-off are an optional add-on at $75/person. Manna dinner for two is already included. Guest cabins (Adler and Bracken) are available at regular rates through the normal booking flow.
Can guests attend?
Yes — up to 10 guests are welcome for the ceremony and a brief send-off under the Timber Pavilion. After that, they head home and the evening is just the couple.
What if it rains?
Lee calls the weather by 10am. Ceremony moves to the Timber Pavilion (covered, open-air) for light rain, or indoors to the Studio Loft for heavy rain, cold, or wind. All backups are beautiful. No scrambling, no extra fee.
Can we bring our own caterer or food?
Manna dinner for two is already included. If you'd like Manna appetizers for guests at the Timber Pavilion send-off, that's an add-on at $75/person. You're also welcome to arrange your own food or BYO.
Can guests stay overnight?
Yes — the Adler and Bracken Cabins are available at regular rates through the normal booking flow. Each sleeps two. Book alongside your wedding date when you inquire.
What is the deposit and payment process?
A 25% (minimum $400) retainer holds your date, applied toward your total. No full payment until closer to the event. You'll receive a payment link and a simple planning agreement when you confirm. Cancellation terms are in the agreement.
Is photography available?
Lee photographs documentary style — the story of the day, not posed portraits. Ceremony (3 hours): $2,500. The Full Arc — getting ready through dinner (5 hours): $4,000. Inquire for availability. Outside photographers are always welcome.
Can we do the ceremony indoors if we prefer?
Yes — forest ceremony is the default, but if you prefer indoors for any reason, the Studio Loft is the indoor ceremony space. Just mention it when you inquire.
