Space built for doing, not watching.
The Studio Loft has 1,120 sq ft of open floor. No fixed furniture, no awkward layout to work around. Pull chairs into a circle, lay out materials, spread across the room — the space responds to how you want to use it.
Flat rate. No minimums.
Half-day or full-day flat rate. No per-person fee, no minimum spend, no corkage for outside food. Pay for the space — bring whoever you're teaching, and do what you came to do.

Artists & Instructors
Painting, printmaking, ceramics, fibre arts, and mixed media. Natural light in the Studio Loft, outdoor space for messy work, forty acres for inspiration.
Writers & Facilitators
Writing workshops, story circles, memoir groups, poetry workshops. The quiet is genuine — no background noise, no passing foot traffic.
Therapeutic Circles
Somatic work, grief circles, creative therapy, expressive arts. The forest setting does some of the work before participants sit down.
Community Groups
Craft guilds, book clubs, community programming, seasonal celebrations. A proper space for things that deserve a proper room.

Open floor plan, vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows facing old-growth forest. The north-northwest orientation gives you soft, consistent natural light through the day — no harsh afternoon glare. Built for work that needs room: movement, making, gathering in a circle, spreading materials across a table.

The Farmhouse — For Workshops with Meals
A working kitchen and room to gather.
The original farmhouse with a full working kitchen, harvest table, gas fireplace, and an outdoor deck overlooking the meadow. Best for workshops that include a shared meal, cooking as part of the practice, or a facilitated gathering where the domestic atmosphere is part of the point.

The Food
Manna by Fernwood Hills — in-house food prepared in a simple, thoughtful way that fits the scale and feel of your day. Seasonal menus, family-style or buffet service. No fixed price list — menus and pricing are worked out as part of your booking. We can accommodate vegetarian and some other dietary preferences; just mention it when you inquire. Multi-Day Workshops
Running a two-day program?
Multi-day workshops can be combined with overnight stays in the cabins or Farmhouse. Participants sleep on the property and walk to the Studio Loft in the morning. We'll quote both together.
