“The place was as exactly as described. Very private beautiful cabin. Lots of things in the cabin from the fridge to google home for your music needs and lots of games. The large windows overlooking the forest was very calming and peaceful to wake up to. There is a propane bbq and fireplace outside we didn’t get the time to use. The washrooms/ showers were extremely clean and easy to find within walking distance. Night time gets super dark. so I wouldn’t recommend walking around at night time. 10/10 would definitely come back. Thank you Celia and Lee for making our stay feel welcoming.”

“My stay at Fernwood Hills was absolutely wonderful. It is the perfect getaway to relax and recharge. The tiny cabin was surrounded with windows that had the most beautiful view of trees and nature which made the experience so blissful. The cabin exceeded my expectations and I would most definitely recommend staying there!”

Forty acres of mature Carolinian forest, trails, a fire pit, and wildlife you didn't know existed this close to London.
Check Out
Noon checkout. No rush, no checklist. Leave the key in the lock — we'll sort the rest.
Why Overnight
Most people who visit Fernwood Hills for the day leave wanting more time. Not because there's more to do — but because the place takes a while to settle into. The quiet that builds by early evening. The fire pit after dinner. The morning before anything starts.
An overnight stay is a different thing than a day visit. You get the property when it's empty. You hear what forty acres sounds like at night. You wake up in the forest and have nowhere to be. It doesn't require a special occasion — just the decision to stop for a night.
Evening
Fire pit. The forest as it gets dark. Dinner on your own terms.
Night
No road noise. No neighbours. The kind of quiet that takes some getting used to.
Morning
Coffee before the world starts. The property is yours before checkout.
Ten Minutes Home
Close enough that it's easy. Far enough that it actually feels like a break.
The Food
