Striving to create a link from Farm to Fork, food with a story. From our Market Garden to regenerative agriculture, permaculture and agroforestry practices, we desire to learn, grow and educate on the importance of growing food and our relationship to it.
Just minutes from London Ontario, in the welcoming town of Komoka, Ontario we believe we are located in a prime spot to offer a unique connection from the city to the farm. Telling a story of food in a way that is interesting and also fun, those that visit us at Fernwood Hills are immersed in the ideas of a different way of growing food, one that seeks to enhance what is already here and contribute to a regenerative form of farming.
Producing high-quality fresh produce, from our high-intensity high rotation small plots, per square foot these small 1/2 acre areas are the powerhouses of food production during the main growing seasons. We use our freshly harvested produce for events and weddings on site as well as for local restaurants and chefs and also in our freshly made food and drink products.
Though we are always learning we love helping others by sharing what we have learned by trial and error, our successes as well as mistakes, if you are interested in what we are up to we would love to connect!
